John Armstrong: Right now we're looking at Discord as a potentially good option for it, but would love to get opinions. Do you have a preference yourself?

ExtensionKit: For a community feel, Discord is probably best, as it supports full channel histories. Unfortunately, Slack hides everything more than 3 months old. GitHub Discussions are nice since they are searchable from the web and are less likely be locked behind a paywall, but they don’t really have that community feel or real-time communication.

Any other paid communities like Circle.so usually die, since people won’t login and check just for a single group. I’m on Slack, Discord, and GitHub all the time though.
